Tom Yum: Product Review

Tom Yum, Yum!! item: Thai tom yum mix  name: Tom Yum Paste  brand: FairPrice  Verdict: 👍👍👍👍 4 stars from my tribe :-) The littlest one has yet to acquire this taste, a tad too spicy for his palate. But for majority of us, this absolutely tastes Tom Yum.  We prepped this as Fish Tom Yam Soup 🥣🔥, and it was sooo good eats! Sits so warmin the tummy given the cool rainy season this start of the year. 1 pack Suchi fish. Any veggie (eggplant, bean sprouts, cucumber, carrots). 📝 Tip:  serve with egg noodles side by side this hot soup and its perfect!

Garlickety Roast! 🧄

Yum!! Ready the garlic! Keep skin on, but of course peel off some if it's dirty.  Slice the top portion of the garlic head. Place garlic heads on aluminum wrap. Slather each head with oil, salt, pepper. Seal the wrap. Toast / bake for 30mins at 200°C. Remove from the oven and unseal the wrap (careful, its hot!). Let cool, until able to handle the garlic, or opt to use kitchen gloves. Squeeze out gently the garlic from the skin. When toasted well, it should fall out easily. Catch onto a mixing bowl. Squish and mash with a fork, and mix with melted butter, and other preferred herbs. And that's it, this garlic butter mix is ready for some serious yummy slatherin'.

🥟Dumpling pancake

Crispy dumpling pancake is like lumpia in another form. They are from the same "family" I would say 😉. A beloved dish in a new fun way to eat. 📝Ingredients- Minced chicken Oyster sauce Carrots Celery Onion Salt, pepper Sesame oil Vermicelli noodles (optional, it doesnt get crispy inside as i imagined it would.  It serves more as an extender ). Wanton wrap 📝🥟Prep: Heat oil in large pan or wok. Stir fry meat. Season with a bit of salt & pepper. Stir-fry veggies. Add oyster sauce, mix well until the whole thing's stirfry-cooked. Last, drizzle some sesame oil. Add a spoonful of the cooked mix to each wanton wrap.  Pinch the top together to close.l the dumpling.  Flatten the dumpling on your palm/plate. Set aside.  Repeat until its a wrap! 🤭🏁 🔥🥟Fry time:  Fry well, both sides. Rest on paper towels to remove extra oil. Serve with favorite dip. 💡Inspired by:  Cici Li

Pour to sauce dish. Serve with your greens and proteins, or whatever floats your boat.  👌

how do i: make eyeglass lens cleaner?

Make DIY eyeglasses cleanser-  -3 parts rubbing alcohol -1 part distilled or boiled water -2 drops dishwashing soap (non-citrus) - mix in a clean bowl. - transfer to a spray bottle. 💨💨💨 Easy peasy really. BUT... If time does not permit, just buy lah. 😅 A large bottle at an appropriate cost will free up your golden time.🪙🕰️

perfect fried rice

Batch 1: cook meat sliced to thin cubes (4 pcs pork shoulder or chicken gillet) Batch 2: 1 carrots minced 5 garlic minced 1 onion diced Batch 3: 3 eggs beaten cooked meat in bite-size Batch 4: 7 cups old rice - chilled and clumps separated 2 1/2 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp fish sauce 1 tsp mirin 1 tsp sesame oil Add seasoning, to taste: Pepper red chili flakes - optional Add Toppings: 1 green onion, thinly slice You can also add: roasted nuts, sliced pineapples Instructions: In a wok, put 2 tbsp oil then cook and set aside each batch (batch 1 to batch 4) Tips: Use the WOK. Use high heat.  🔥 The thinner the meat slice, the quicker & better cooked it will be. Do not put so much rice at 1 go.  This keeps the wok really hot. Do not put so much sauce or rice will get sticky; you can always add more at the end to taste.
