Street food style: Ballsy Tuna

Bring the street food festival into your home with these easy skewered tuna balls. With a dip/sauce, and drinks to guzzle, of your choice, forget the cutlery and eat with your hands!  turn on the lanterns, and chill in the Night Market vibes with your friends or family. Breathe. Relax. Unwind. Dig in. Tools: Mixing bowl Fork 2 spoons Frying pan Ingredients: 1 can of tuna, drained 1 small Onion,minced 1 small Carrot, minced 1garlic, minced Chili flakes (optional) 1/2 cup All purpose flour 1/2 cup Cornstarch 1 tbsp Baking powder 1/3 cup water (ADD AS NEEDED) Chili flakes (optional) Salt & pepper** Cooking oil Tips: *Depends on the consistency of the mix, it should not be too dry or too wet. **Sample-fry a small portion for a taste test.   ***Version 2- add herbs?  Spice?  ๐Ÿ’ก inspired by: Yummy Kitchen

sardinas pasta ooh la la

The aroma of sardines sauteed in oil leads me down Childhood Memory Lane.  Of busy cleanup weekend mornings, each to his own task, happily or grudgingly ๐Ÿ˜†, nail down that shining shimmering spotless clean ✨ as Mum would like it.  When all's done, there will be lunch al fresco on a bright sunny Saturday. A flurry of us back & forth from the house to the garden, plates, cutleries,  pitcher of fruit juice & cups, warm rice and viands on trays in tow, not to forget pitching the giant picnic umbrella ⛱ , and voila, everyone seated, said grace, and dug in! Growing up, many a times canned sardines got my family through difficult times. Back then, a single can of 555 or Hakone was inexpensive. When m ixed with a lot of veggies like sayote, ripe tomatoes, aromatic onion, and odong noodles, it can make for a satisfying and substantial meal.
