.BLT classic.

Hmm, be-connnnn. BoLT.  BLasT. BriLlianT. Bacon Lettuce Tomato. Nothing beats a  classic . 🥓 Ingredients Bacon , 1 pack, cook til crispy as per package instruction. Lettuce leaves, washed and spin-dried. Tomatoes , sliced like flat moons 🌚, seeds removed. Boiled eggs (optional) Cheese singles (optional) Onion, sliced to thin rings (optional) Sauce (Mayo,  Ketchup, Mustard) Pickles (optional) Burger buns, or wraps, warmed, buttered, toasted, however you fancy. 🥓 Steps Prepare ingredients. Serve separately. Plate & stack as you like it, and discover surprising combos along the way! ! 🤤 

Miswa, unswa?

Misua  or Mee-sua. Our family's version: we love it with gyoza / wanton / dumplings added in. Soul food.  Comfort food. Easy to prep ahead, and quick to cook. 🍲 Tools   Chopping board and knife  Soup pot Soup ladle Big bowl for soaking noodles 🍲  Ingredients Onion, minced or sliced Garlic,minced Spring onion, minced Carrots,1 big, julienne Cabbage, 1/3 head julienne (pechay, spinach, or whatever leafy greens work too) Misua noodles, 3 bunches, soaked in tepid water for 10mins then drained. Minced pork, 250g.  Gyoza / wanton / dumpling, 1 pack. Chicken broth, OR chicken bouillon cube. KalamaNsi (lime),sliced 🍲 Steps Saute minced pork in garlic & onion. Season with oyster sauce, salt, black pepper. Add carrots. Add leafy greens: white / firmer parts first, the softer leaves can follow before the noodles are added in (#8). Add broth. Turon turon, sinta 🎵

Yummy turon , airfried ! An easy Pinoy  merienda   swak  for   snack time, tea time, breakfast, anytime, really! 🫔 Tools Chopping board & knife Bowl or plate for sugar Baking tray Baking paper Kitchen towel Kitchen tongs (for flippin'). 🫔 Ingredients Fruit:  banana, peach, mango, pineapple, what-have-you  🍌🥭🍑🍍🍎 Brown sugar, 1 cup  cinnamon powder, 1tsp (optional) Lumpia wrapper (or dumpling wrapper). water, or cornflour / cornstarch with water 🫔 Steps Pat-dry fruits with kitchen towel, then slice thinly. (thick slices need bigger wraps). Dip & coat the fruit in brown sugar . Wrap in lumpia wrapper. Wet the end with water or or cornflour / cornstarch mixture. One last roll to seal the turon. Line in baking paper, space them well -- do not overcrowd. Sprinkle with more brown sugar (optional). Preheat airfryer 5minutes at 160°. Bake turon 10mins 160° in the airfryer. Flip turon.
