Yummy turon, airfried !

An easy Pinoy merienda swak for snack time, tea time, breakfast, anytime, really!



🫔 Tools
  • Chopping board & knife
  • Bowl or plate for sugar
  • Baking tray
  • Baking paper
  • Kitchen towel
  • Kitchen tongs (for flippin').

🫔 Ingredients
  • Fruit: banana, peach, mango, pineapple, what-have-you 🍌🥭🍑🍍🍎
  • Brown sugar, 1 cup 
  • cinnamon powder, 1tsp (optional)
  • Lumpia wrapper (or dumpling wrapper).
  • water, or cornflour / cornstarch with water

🫔 Steps

  1. Pat-dry fruits with kitchen towel, then slice thinly.
  2. (thick slices need bigger wraps).
  3. Dip & coat the fruit in brown sugar.
  4. Wrap in lumpia wrapper.
  5. Wet the end with water or or cornflour / cornstarch mixture.
  6. One last roll to seal the turon.
  7. Line in baking paper, space them well -- do not overcrowd.
  8. Sprinkle with more brown sugar (optional).
  9. Preheat airfryer 5minutes at 160°.
  10. Bake turon 10mins 160°
  11. Flip turon.
  12. Bake turon for 13mins 160°.
  13. Take out from airfryer.
  14. Let it rest for 5 minutes 
  15. (or 1, depends how patient or how hungry you are! 😅) 
  16. Serve.

tuna sandwich fix ♣️♦️♥️♠️

A quick hunger fix that's easy to make, yet packs a flavor bomb. Ingredients : 1 can tuna, drained 1 onion, minced 1/4 cucumber, diced 1 apple diced or sliced 1 carrot, minced (optional*) Salt Pepper Mayonnaise Red chili flakes Buttered bread Steps : Cheese spread**      1 cup cheese, grated       1 type or a mix of varied cheese       Milk, water Saute the tuna in onion & carrots*. Set aside to cool. Once cool, add the other ingredients. Cover & chill in serve until ready to serve. Toast the bread. In a small pan, melt the grated cheese. Add milk and water. Mix well. It should be sticky spread consistency. Serve tuna spread, cheese spread, and warm butter bread, with chips or salsa on the side. Asian Twizt Pasta

My brood loves pasta dishes. To shake things up a bit, we tried one with the Asian twist. Always fun to do a twist 😁💃 🍝 pasta noodles, al dente ginger, 1 smallest knob, shred Garlic, 1 small knob, shred Spring onion, white 1 onion, diced 1 Chili, sliced bias (optional) 🍝 Sauce - Soy sauce, 1 tbsp Sesame oil, 1 tbsp Peanut butter 1 tbsp Lemon juice / vinegar, 1tsp Pasta water, 2 tbsp Chili flakes, 1 tsp (optional) 🍝 Toppings - Crushed nuts Spring onion, greens Chili flakes Toasted sesame seeds Tips- - careful adding more lemon juice or vinegar to the sauce.
