π¦π¦π¦ SHRIMP PILAF π¦π¦π¦
Sometimes the usual fried rice gets tiring. π΅
Thankfully, aromatic memories of that tasty Shrimp Pilaf wafted to my brain. This was my usual fare in the kenshu center's canteen back in my Japanese language training days. π
Hurray to this southern twist of fried rice.
Another option for my growing kids --- to infinity and beyond for their tastebuds! ππ
i n g r e d i e n t s:
onion - minced
garlic - minced
carrots - minced
green bellpepper - diced
sausage sliced diagonal
shrimp, deveined
1 tsp Cajun
1 tsp Smoked paprika
1 cup chicken stock
dash of salt and pepper
old rice
Toppings:
fresh parsley (or celery leaves)
Fried eggs
or whatever floats your boat!
Hungry family's verdict: 2-thumbs up!
