Bun Me! Pineappled Bak Wa

🏮Bring Lunar New Year vibes to the table with Bak Wa & Mantou. 

Vibrant colors, savory, fresh, crisp, tangy, soft and warm, Mmmmm to the senses.🤤 just a wonderful assault to the senses in 1 bun. shiok to my young ones and and young once! 



Tools

  • steamer
  • sauce pan
  • ladle

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp cooking oil
  • Mantou or Pao, steamed
  • Bak Wa, warmed
  • Pineapple slices, lightly roasted
  • Mini- Romaine Lettuce
  • PineApple Sauce 

Steps

  1. Steam mantou or pao buns according to package instructions.
  2. Slice the bakwa and lettuce proportional to the size of the bun.
  3. Ready the pineapple slices.
  4. Ready the PineApple sauce.(see recipe


Best served while the buns are warm.

tuna sandwich fix ♣️♦️♥️♠️

A quick hunger fix that's easy to make, yet packs a flavor bomb. Ingredients : 1 can tuna, drained 1 onion, minced 1/4 cucumber, diced 1 apple diced or sliced 1 carrot, minced (optional*) Salt Pepper Mayonnaise Red chili flakes Buttered bread Steps : Cheese spread**      1 cup cheese, grated       1 type or a mix of varied cheese       Milk, water Saute the tuna in onion & carrots*. Set aside to cool. Once cool, add the other ingredients. Cover & chill in serve until ready to serve. Toast the bread. In a small pan, melt the grated cheese. Add milk and water. Mix well. It should be sticky spread consistency. Serve tuna spread, cheese spread, and warm butter bread, with chips or salsa on the side. " Hor Fun " or " kway teow " is a thick, flat rice noodle. " Char " means fried in Hokkien. It is a staple in Chinese cuisine, distinctly with wok hei ... I would say that delicious charred, roasted in wok taste.  Yup, this one's a favorite in my nest.  Have fun wok-tossin'! 🍜Tools Chopping board Knife Wok (or deep & wide frying pan) Ladle microwaveable bowl that can fit your portion of noodles to cook 🍜Ingredients 125g Chicken fillet,julienned a fistful of Shrimp,  peeled,  deveined,  washed & pat dry 1 small Onion, sliced 5 Garlic minced A stub of Ginger, minced 1 pack Hor fun noodles Soy sauce Oyster sauce Chicken broth Bok choi or  Pechay, sliced, whites separated from the leaves 2 Eggs, scrambled Kalamansi / lime / lemon wedges Crushed nuts for topping (optional) 🍜Steps Place the noodles in a bowl.
